RAG (Raising & Giving)
RAG stands for Raising and Giving so it's all about raising money and giving it to charity! There are loads of different ways to do this but is mainly done through street collections which take place in cities such as London, Manchester and Birmingham and are always loads of fun! Recently we've been helping raise money for Cancer Research, Barnardos, and Meningitis UK.
RAG also gives you the chance to take part in an unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience, just to make your Loughborough experience even more amazing! This could be climbing to the top of Kilimanjaro or Everest Base Camp, running the New York Marathon, cycing from London to Paris, doing a skydive, taking part in Loughborough's 'Escape and Evade' challenge and so so much more! A
nyone can get involved with RAG and we always welcome new ideas to raise money. As well as obviously helping out some of the UK's biggest charities, it's a great way to meet people and make new friends!
